The story of Stella’s Kitchen began over 25 years ago, when our founders Scott & Ashley first worked side-by-side in a bustling Melbourne restaurant. Their shared passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and love of food laid the foundation for what would become a truly special dining destination.

Today, Stella’s Kitchen is nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Montague Apple Orchards, beside the tranquil beauty of Lysterfield Park. More than just a restaurant, it’s a place where guests can unwind, savour thoughtfully crafted dishes, and experience the perfect blend of nature and culinary excellence.

Honouring the legacy of the Montague family — pioneers of Montague Orchards for over 75 years — Stella’s Kitchen is named in tribute to the family matriarch, Stella.

Just a short drive from Melbourne’s CBD, Stella’s Kitchen offers a truly memorable dining experience set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Montague orchard. Here, seasonal produce shines, local flavours are celebrated, and every dish is inspired by nature’s rhythm.
